Composite doors

Our composite doors are all 48mm solid timber core, supplied with 3-star anti-snap locks and are custom-made to fit your opening. So yes, they are secure, energy efficient and a perfect door replacement.

If you choose a standard colour, they are not painted as they are baked from the skin colour of the door.

If you choose a custom RAL colour, then this will be painted but still carry the same warranty as a standard colour door.

Composite doors offer many benefits over wooden doors, including security, durability, minimal maintenance, and safety.

Yes, you can have the same colour on the inside and outside or you can dual colour, which means you can have white on the inside and black on the outside, for example.

Composite doors are not FD30 as standard, which is the fire rating required for a fire door. However, we do offer fire-rated doors, so if you look out for FD30, these doors ARE fire rated, which meets housing associations, councils, apartments and flats regulations.

Yes, composite doors are very well insulated. They retain 8x more heat than traditional timber doors and have far better draught-proofing properties.

They are not fully soundproof, but they do absorb a lot of sound due to the thick 48mm timber core.

Composite doors are a big step up from uPVC doors for many reasons.

Firstly, they are a solid slab, which means great security, energy efficiency and a solid looking and feeling door.

uPVC doors are more flimsy, can be broken into easier in general and probably will be phased out with regulations in the coming years.

Composite doors are very secure and require a lot of noise, persistence and force to get in.

We fit 3-star ABS anti-snap locks with all composite doors which are super secure.

Composite doors are made to last up to 35 years.

It is best to clean your composite doors with warm soapy water. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth once per month should suffice. Use no abrasive or chemical brushes.

Order Processes

We have a wide range of secure payment options below.

If your door/s is supply only, the full balance is required as it will go straight into production.

If you door/s are supplied and fitted by us, then just £99 deposit secures your order. We then send a surveyor to measure up and once they have done so, we will then ask for the final balance before sending the door to be manufactured.

Below are the payment options you have available:

  1. Pay by card via Stripe (we even accept AMEX)
  2. Klarna – Pay in 30 days, with other options such as pay in 3 instalments sometimes available at checkout.
  3. Buy Now Pay in 12 Months – With just a £99 deposit, you can have a payment break with no interest if you pay the balance off within 12 months.
  4. Pay over 3,4,5,7 or 10 years with 9.9% interest-bearing finance with a £99 deposit required.
  5. 0% interest-free on selected doors over 1 or 2 years, again with a £99 deposit.

To order, you can purchase your door entirely online and leave a £99 deposit at checkout to secure your order.

If you wish to speak to someone, please design your door, then save your door once it’s designed. Then give us a call and we can process your order over the phone.

Please note it’s much easier to order online if you can do so as everything is automated.

If you can measure the height and width of your door approximately, we can give you prices online super easy.

Some door designs have minimum and maximum with and height, so it’s best if you can give us some approximate measurements to avoid disappointment when our surveyor comes to measure up properly.

For supplied and fitted customers: Once you order your door, and pay your £99 deposit, we will send one of our surveyors to measure up properly.

For supply only, we manufacture the door to your measurements and you take responsibility for the sizes. Again, you would need to provide sizes during the door builder so that we can make sure the slab you have chosen can be made to those sizes.

The lead time from order to survey is usually 1-2 weeks from paying your £99 deposit.

We then receive your survey back the same or the next day. Once the final payment is received, we put your door into production, which takes around 2-4 weeks to be manufactured, depending on the time of year.

We will then arrange for the door to be fitted at your property within 1 week.

In most cases the process end to end is 4-6 weeks from paying the £99 deposit.

Supply-only customers will pay for the door and once this is completed, the door will be manufactured and delivered to you within 3-6 weeks depending on the time of year.

About us

We own a range of door websites that are specific to each product. UK Aluminium Bifold Doors is our specialist bifolding door website and Value Doors is our main door retail website that has a range of doors.

We are always looking to aquire door websites as we are growing rapidly and our online presence is helping us grow rapidly.

We have a wide range of payment partners so that we can give flexibility to our customers. From Klarna to 0% interest-free, we can offer a suite of finance options with low deposits.

Due to the high volume of doors that we sell and fit each week, it’s impossible to have everyone employed full time on our payroll.

We therefore sometimes sub-contract the fitting side to our vetted and trusted sub contractors.

They are fully checked and adhere to our strict high standards as an employed staff member would do.
